The Brass Lantern Has Closed Its Doors
Effective August 24, 2019

The Innkeepers at The Brass Lantern must sadly announce that the B&B is closing. We have had a wonderful 24 years hosting all of you, but for health reasons are no longer able to keep up with servicing the rooms and pool.

The property has been sold and the new owners do not plan to reopen.

* Rates quoted are per night and do not include tax; 5% tax will be added.  Winter Season (November 15 - March 15): Add $25 per room per night.

Whole house rental is available for up to 10 persons per night.  Please call for rates.

During Winter Season (Nov 15 - Mar 15) a minimum rental of 2 nights OR 2 rooms (excluding the Gallery) is required.  Note that Winter rates add $25 per room per night to each of the rates listed above.  We are closed Thanksgiving Day.

Regular Season Specials (NOT available Nov 15 - Mar 15):

Weeknight Honeymoon Mon. through Thurs. $265 per night *
Weeknight Rates Mon. through Thurs. $140 per night * (1 or 2 persons)
2-Night Package Thurs.-Fri. or Sun.-Mon. $280 for both nights * (1 or 2 persons)
Weekend Package Fri.-Sat.-Sun. $400 for 3 nights * (1 or 2 persons)

Call for Holiday rates during the Christmas and New Year season (December 20 - January 2).

Call or e-mail for information on gift certificates, other packages, rates for large groups, or daytime-only rentals.

An advance deposit of 50% is required to reserve the rooms. In the event of a cancellation, two (2) weeks' notice is required for full refund of deposit, except for Holidays and Covered Bridge Festival, when thirty (30) days' advance notice is required. Payment in full is expected upon arrival.

Most major credit cards accepted! Cash, personal check, travelers' check or money order - no cash refunds for overpayment by personal check or money order.

Check-in time: 3:30-5:30 PM (or as arranged in advance). Check-out time: 12:00 Noon.

Note: Late check-ins must be arranged in advance. Call (641) 743-2031, if arrival time will be after 5:30 PM.
